GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Café Manager in many of the daily duties of operations and provides professional leadership and direction to all café staff. Front of House Supervisors primarily work in Front of House capacity; however, they will also lend support to the Kitchen Managers when necessary. The typical schedule would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The FOH Supervisor covers a wide variety of responsibilities in the daily operations of the café and may be modified from time to time by management. It is important to note that not all functions and duties are contained within this definition, and the position itself should be ever-changing and adaptive.
Nevertheless, specific roles and responsibilities allocated to this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Act as a liaison between team members and management.
• Ensure established standards of cleanliness and sanitation are being met, as well as execute daily and weekly cleaning projects.
• Aid in the creation and updating of store signage to reflect current standards and information.
• Handle preparation, set-up, packaging and delivery of catering orders.
• Aid in the supervision and training of the FOH & BOH staff within the restaurant.
• Ensure that the Management Team is aware of the activities occurring within the restaurant.
• Advise management with any employee members’ performance issues.
• Advise management of any disciplinary actions taken on staff.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new employees.
• Aid in ensuring all weekly orders are received and effectively stored & organized and practice proper product rotation.
• Aid in daily FOH activities.
• Have thorough product knowledge as well as a thorough understanding of the Revel POS system.
• Handle problems that arise in an effective professional manner.

• Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with the entire Management Team including Retail, BOH, Wine, and Ownership.
• Ensure opening and/or closing duties are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
• Aid in daily and weekly equipment cleaning and maintenance.
