Post of the Day

South Carolina walked into Friday as the underdog and walked out with one of the biggest wins of the season, knocking off an undefeated UConn team 62–48 to reach the national championship.

The championship game against UCLA on Sunday didn’t go their way. UCLA, led by a lineup of seniors, jumped out to a quick start and never looked back, going on to win 79–51.

This was the Gamecocks’ fifth NCAA championship appearance, and their third straight. Next year, they’ll look to be back, with a strong incoming class, the return of Chloe Kitts and Ashlyn Watkins, and several stars from this year’s team.
