Phase One of the Carolina Crossroads project, partly developed to help with the headache of Malfunction Junction, is set to wrap up in the middle of October. The full project and all phases are planned to be completed by 2029. (The State)

Restaurant Week Midlands, running from Thursday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 13, is set to highlight the culinary diversity of our area. The 11-day event invites diners to explore a range of multi-course menus specially curated by local restaurants. Dig in and see what’s on local menus.
