Pup-grade your weekends. Publico Kitchen and Tap in Five Points is unleashing summer fun for you and your furry friends with its new (and Columbia’s first) pop-up off-leash dog park — Roscoe’s Bark Park and Watering Hole.
Opening Monday, June 9 at 4 p.m., the dog park features everything from pup patrols to bark-tenders slinging cocktails for pet pawrents. Stay tuned on Instagram for updates and events, like weekly trivia, deals, pups + pilates, and more.
Memberships + applications verifying up-to-date vaccinations are required for pups, but humans get in for free. See membership options, with day passes starting at $10.

Beginning today, portions of the Riverfront Park Trail will be closed for approximately six months due to the construction of a new water intake on the Broad River. Though visitors won’t be able to walk the full length of the trail, the north end of the park (4122 River Dr.) and the south end of the park (312 Laurel St.) will remain open.

The first two home Gamecock football games will be played under stadium lights. On Saturday, Sept. 6, the Cocks play against SC State at 7 p.m + the following Saturday, USC will face Vanderbilt for its conference opener, kicking off at either 7 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. (Gamecocks Online)
