$8 million — that’s the amount USC star quarterback and Heisman Trophy contender LaNorris Sellers reportedly turned down to stay with the Gamecocks. After racking up over 3,200 yards and 25 touchdowns as a redshirt freshman, his NIL valuation climbed to $3.7 million — No. 6 nationally. (The State)

We think watermelon red nails would look good on you. In fact, fruit nails are trending — and watermelon is the most searched fruit nail color in SC. Get in on the trend and take a picture with your viral nails holding a watermelon margarita from Cantina 76. (Flourish)
Traffic
South Beltline Boulevard at Loquat Drive is expected to reopen by Saturday, June 21, following Columbia Water’s sewer system upgrades. Until then, drivers should use Rosewood Drive, I-77, or posted detour routes. (WLTX)
Lost pet? There’s a new way to help bring them home. Animal Mission just launched its first-ever Pet Microchip Check Station outside Columbia Animal Services. Anyone can now scan found pets for microchips — no appointment needed. Pro tip, pet owners: Microchipped pets are three times more likely to be reunited with their humans.
