Celebrate summer, the joy of learning, and the educators who inspire it all at EdVenture. | Photo provided by EdVenture
School’s almost out, and EdVenture is welcoming the sunny season with its annual Kickoff to Summer party — a day of hands-on fun, creativity, and learning through play on Saturday, May 31. This year’s mission: unplug from screens and plug into curiosity, imagination, and quality time with family.
The fun begins at 10 a.m. as South Carolina’s Teacher of the Year, Braden Wilson, lights up “J the Firefly” on Eddie’s finger to symbolize a bright, screen-free summer ahead. Then, until 3 p.m., kids and their parents can enjoy:
Crafts + games
Learning stations designed to spark creativity and curiosity
Music + dancing
Giveaways
Food trucks
And more
Bonus: Every child will leave with a Summer Bucket List packed with screen-free adventures to keep the EdVenture going all season long.
If it’s anything like last year, this event will be a blast.
