Twelve new single-family homes are under construction at Hattie’s Crossing in Cayce, a residential infill project on the former Cayce Grammar School site. Homes will range from $379,000-$399,000 and are expected to be completed this fall.

Riverfront Park’s north entrance off River Drive will reopen Saturday, Aug. 23, following accessibility and safety improvements to the lower trail’s concrete path. The City of Columbia says weather delays pushed back the original timeline. (Cola Daily)

The Columbia City Council gave first approval to new short-term rental rules, raising the booking age to 25, requiring a two-night minimum stay, off-street parking, and occupancy limits. Hosts must also notify neighbors and hold a business license. (WLTX)
