After seven years on Greene Street near Colonial Life Arena, Columbia Craft Brewing Company has closed. The brewery, a staple of the city’s 2010s craft beer boom, plans to continue distributing its famously hopped brews throughout the state.
In a statement, the team said it faced “rising costs, shifting consumer habits, and increased competition” in an evolving market, adding they’re “grateful for everyone who supported us along the way.” Comments poured inon social media with people sharing love for the taproom.
