Here are six trivia nights happening on weeknights in the Midlands (and some local trivia for you to answer) so you can get into the trivia spirit:
Monday
Ma, the meatloaf! It’s at Home Team BBQ on Monday nights along with trivia hosted by DJ Kevin Snow.

Tuesday
Columbia Craft (520 Greene St.) hosts trivia on Tuesday evenings with food truck Parabellum Mobile Eats on hand to keep you fed and happy.

Market on Main’s (1320 Main St. Ste. 150) trivia with DJ Haile features different themes from week to week. Next up, pop culture themed trivia from the 1980s, 90s, and 2000s.

Hazelwood’s (711 East Main St., Lexington) upped the perks for its trivia nights with specials like $1 off all draft beers and the Perfect Fall Marg for $5.

Tin Roof’s (1022 Senate St.) theme for trivia this week is Game of Thrones, so be sure to brush up on your Westeros knowledge.

A new Whataburger and Tidal Wave Auto Spa are coming to the quickly growing Red Bank area of Lexington. The new development at Platt Springs Crossing will also feature commercial + residential spaces, with more businesses, including a grocer, to be announced. (The State)

Topgolf is eyeing Columbia for a potential new venue, showing interest in a property near the intersection of Piney Grove Road + I-26 near Harbison. According to The Post and Courier, the company remained tight-lipped about definitive plans. This would be Topgolf’s fourth SC location, joining Myrtle Beach, Greenville, and North Charleston.
Regional
QTS Data Centers is investing $1 billion to establish its first SC site in York County, marking the ninth billion-dollar investment in the state. This move aims to create a technology hub in York County. The eco-friendly campus will prioritize carbon-free power and innovative water-saving technologies. (Columbia Business Report)
Biz
Benedict College is collaborating with Black@ Labs to introduce the first accelerator program to boost diverse entrepreneurs in SC. This initiative offers resources and support and is funded by a $525,000 US Department of Commerce grant.
Cause
The Junior League of Columbia (JLC) is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a “100 Acts of Service Week” from Oct. 2 through 12. Honoring its legacy of community impact and women’s leadership, JLC members will collaborate with various community partners across the Midlands for service projects.

Congaree National Park, Boardwalk Loop Trail
If you’re looking for a relaxing walk through the hardwood forest where you can observe many types of trees and wildlife throughout the walk, this trail is for you.
Three Rivers Greenway
The Three Rivers Greenway is currently a 12.5-mile linear park that runs through Columbia, West Columbia, and Cayce.
Sandhills Hiking Trail
Enjoy this resurfaced trail winding through forests and over the wetlands.
