Today marks seven days until the first Carolina football game of the 2024 season. Who else is excited? Before you know it, our weekends will be full of tailgating, the smell of fried food will fill our noses from the SC State Fair, the summer heat will be but a memory, we’ll pick the perfect pumpkins for our porches, and a slew of festivals will pop up all over Columbia. The Gamecocks announced their 2024-25 nonconference men’s basketball schedule, featuring nine home games, including a matchup against Clemson on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Colonial Life Arena. The season opens Tuesday, Nov. 4 against North Florida on the road. (Gamecocks Online)
