The wait is over for Forest Acres’ newest coffee shop in Cardinal Crossing next to Lowe’s Foods. Lazy Daisy Coffee Co. opens Monday, July 21 — expect Methodical Coffee, locally made pastries (hi, Ally & Eloise + Kudzu Bakery), and a signature buzzy drink called “The Daisy” with local honey.
The ribbon-cutting starts at 8:30 a.m., and the first 50 guests get half off a future drink. Pro tip: Monthly kids’ book readings are coming to the patio.
