• The SC Board of Education approved a statewide ban on cell phones in the classroom following the Free to Focus initiative. The ban will begin in January + districts that don’t comply could lose state funding. (The Post and Courier)

• The SC State Fair announced new admission rules for minors. Folks under 18 years of age will need to be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older after 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and all day on Friday + Saturday.
