The SC Board of Education approved a statewide ban on cell phones in the classroom following the Free to Focus initiative. The ban will begin in January + districts that don’t comply could lose state funding. (The Post and Courier)

The SC State Fair announced new admission rules for minors. Folks under 18 years of age will need to be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older after 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and all day on Friday + Saturday.
