Have you considered online school for your student? The tuition-free Cyber Academy of South Carolina (CASC) gives virtual students an alternative way to learn while providing opportunities to participate in competitions and activities — and celebrate the milestones many teens look forward to.

Meet Angel, a four-time national champion in karate and a student at CASC. This year, Angel made the US National Team. CASC has allowed her to pursue her passion for karate thanks to the flexibility and ability to learn at her own pace.

From the editor
Just as a heads up for football fans — The State shared that a new Murphy USA gas station is being constructed close to Williams-Brice Stadium, near J’s Corner. An opening date for the store hasn’t been announced. It may cause traffic delays, but could also serve as a convenient pit-stop if someone forgets to close the cooler and you need more ice.
