Editor’s Note

Happy Saturday, Cola. David here. I’m currently doing a palate cleanse, getting ready to judge the Palmetto Peanut Boil this afternoon. It kicks off at 12 p.m., and groups from across the state will be boiling up all kinds of peanuts. I’m talking Valencia, Virginia, and Runner peanuts — each boiled with different spices and salinities. There’s a lot that goes into SC’s state snack.
