If you’ve always wanted to make it on TV, this might just be your shot. This weekend, ESPN2 will be in Columbia to film the Spikeball Summer Series Coed Invitational , which will air in August.
While being a part of the competition isn’t an option, fans are encouraged to attend. The tournament will take place this Sun., June 6 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Segra Park + admission is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the day + spectators may have the opportunity to make it on camera.

If you’ve taken a trip to the beach, walked across a college campus, or been to a public park in the last few years, you’ve probably seen spikeball in action. The game includes a circular net and ball.
The object of the game is to hit the ball against the net so that the other team cannot return the hit + traditionally, spikeball is played with 2 teams of 2. Check out a how-to video here + official tournament rules here .
