360 volunteer spots. 29 projects. 7 days. One cause. National Volunteer Week 2019 is coming up, and we’re ready to give back to the community. So is United Way of the Midlands, who is hosting our local leg of National Volunteer Week here in Columbia, April 8-13. With the help of Wells Fargo, they’ve compiled nearly 30 local volunteer opportunities for the Cola community to take part in.
(DYK that in 2018, 1.2 million South Carolinians volunteered, contributing 109 million hours of service? That time was worth ~$2.6 billion. Events like National Volunteer Week and orgs like United Way of the Midlands are big catalysts in making those numbers happen.)
