It’s official, Columbia is getting a food hall – anticipated to open in 2021. While the project is still in the very early stages, a lease has been signed on a 19,000 sq.ft. space in the downtown area, and several vendors are already in negotiations with the developers.
Columbia’s Sanctuary Food Hall will be brought to us by the Atlanta-based developers behind the Marietta Square Market in Marietta, Ga. – and The Shopping Center Group ’s Charleston office will spearhead its marketing efforts.

As of now, ~17 restaurants/vendors will fill the space – ranging from local favorites to ones with global influence. Several vendors will have full service alcohol licenses as well.
