Let’s taco ‘bout Cantina 76 on MainIf you’ve been there recently, I bet you saw the construction next door.

Cantina 76 (at 1301 Main St.) is now renting the adjoining space – increasing their restaurant size by 1,600+ sq.ft. The expanded dining area will have ~30 more seats, increasing the total restaurant capacity to nearly 110 people – making the overall dining area more comfortable and allowing them to now be able to host private events, like company happy hours.

Part of the renovations include nearly doubling the size of the bar, and creating a designated to-go area. The bar as a whole is also getting a makeover by local interior designer Christy Davis (most recently behind the interior decor of Hendrix). She’s re-doing their bathrooms and picking out new floors for the entire place, as well.

With all the extra space they plan to host more live music nights – especially since they now have floor-to-ceiling windows that fully open to Main St.’s sidewalk.

The renovations and expansion are expected to be complete by early Spring 2020, and they don’t anticipate having to close during many of their normal operating hours.

Stay tuned for updates + photos as they make more progress.
