Joffrey Ballet Joins USC Dance for residency and performance

The Joffrey Ballet partners with USC for a three-week residency, culminating in an Saturday, April 5 performance with USC students and orchestra.

The Joffrey Ballet, one of the world’s premier dance companies, is coming to Columbia for a three-week residency with USC’s Betsy Blackmon Dance Program starting Monday, March 17.

The partnership includes rehearsals, masterclasses, and a performance at the Koger Center on Saturday, April 5, featuring Joffrey dancers, USC students, and the USC Symphony Orchestra.

  • Dancing With Parkinson’s at Lexington Medical Center | Monday, March 24, 1-2:30 p.m.
  • Open classes for ages 12+ at USC | Saturday, March 22, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. + Saturday, March 29, 5-7 p.m.
  • Plié on the Plaza at the Columbia Museum of Art | Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Many community events are free with registration. The April gala fundraiser includes cocktails, live music, and dancing. Tickets are $45-$75, with gala admission at $175.
