Bet you can’t tell Goodwill from Jack Rogers

Goodwill with that Goodfind 👕

Don’t sleep on Goodwill – they have some really awesome finds, especially if you’re willing to do a little digging. Some of their clothes still have the tags on them. And if you’re lucky enough to monogram-match with someone else in Cola, you can snag a personalized Columbia PFG for ⅙ of the price.

DYK every purchase or donation you make at Goodwill helps provide jobs in S.C.? (A donation of 6 shirts 👕 + 2 pairs of jeans 👖 = 1 hour of a job-search class 💻 for a person in your neighborhood.) Last year, they placed 11,786 people across the U.S. into jobs.

To see what the new Goodwill on Sunset Blvd. in West Cola had to offer, Beth, intern Cade and I went shopping – then took to Instagram, Facebook + Twitter to ask y’all:

Which one of us is not wearing Goodwill head-to-toe? 🤔

Y’all #Answered who you thought was wearing their own clothes vs. Goodwill’s with:

✔️ 54% Beth (left)

✔️ 18% Cade (middle)

✔️ 28% Sam (right)

One person thought we played a trick on y’all and that all of us were actually in Goodwill finds. But the biggest #QTNA: who is wearing real Jack Rogers… me or Beth? 😱

Drumroll please… Who wasn’t wearing Goodwill?

Sam – a.k.a me. 🙋 Pictured above are my normal, everyday clothes. (I see you, people who thought my $100 Jack Rogers were $5 knock-offs – now my husband will never allow me to purchase another pair. Thanks, y’all. 😑)

Anyways, here are my actual Goodwill finds. ⬇️

Goodwill Sam

👚: $4.75, Merona (cardigan) + $4.75, Ann Taylor (tank top)

👖: $4.75, Loft

👡: $6.50, Kelly & Katie

👜: $6.79, Jessica Simpson

💰 Total spend = $27.54

Goodwill Beth

👗: $6.50, Loft

👡: $6.50, Hot Cakes // Not Jack Rogers – guess that was the real trick we played. 😆

👜: $5.75, BCBG

💰 Total spend = $18.75

Goodwill Cade

👕: $4.75, Columbia (button-up) + $4.75, Gap (sweater) // Cade loved the Columbia button-up so much he bought it. 👏

👖: $4.75, Rude

👟: $6.50, Vans

💰 Total spend = $20.75

We think we made out pretty dang well.

Last year, 90 million+ people nationwide made the planet a lil’ healthier by donating their gently used items to Goodwill. Positively impacting your community is that easy. And it lets someone appreciate that brand new Columbia shirt that was too small for you. 🙏
