#MustDo Monday

Hey, Cola, Caitlin here. I know we are all still recovering from the NCAA tournament this past weekend – and all the celebrations that came with it. Lucky for you, the best upcoming events to attend are closer to the end of the week, so you have a few days to get some rest.

Make sure your days are cleared for these four #MustDo’s:

Indie Grits Film Festival | Thurs.-Sun., Mar. 28-31 | Times vary | The Nickelodeon Theatre | $150 for a general-admission weekend pass, $100 for members | Calling all popcorn + local film lovers – Indie Grits is loaded with flicks from the southeast. Additionally, entertain yourself at the arcade + jam out to live music performances. Individual screening tickets available.

64th Annual Art Auction | Thurs., Mar. 28 | 6-9 p.m. | Koger Center of the Arts | Free | A great way to find new art to liven up your walls + support local artists (including students). Money raised from the auction supports both the artists + student scholarships.

Forks, Knives + Spoonbills | Fri., Mar. 29 | 6-8 p.m. | Spotted Salamander, 1531 Richland St. | $100 | Spotted Salamander is helping Columbia celebrate bird conservation efforts in S.C. through a six-course meal paired with beers from River Rat Brewery.

Columbia City of Women Launch | Sun., Mar. 31 | 6-8 p.m. | Columbia Museum of Art | $35-$250 | A celebration of the strong, courageous, and driven women who have made our city better. Honorees to be annouced at the event.
