Hey, Cola, Caitlin here. There are some eggciting events coming up this week. While we have Easter to look forward to this weekend (and all the chocolate eggs that come with it), here are some other events around Cola that you won’t want to overlook.

April “Yacht Rock” Dinner | Thurs., April 18 | 6:30-9:30 p.m. | City Roots | $75 | A family style, four-course meal using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients – featuring Hipolito Sanchez (“The Mayor of Chicago” + owner of Slow Motion For Meat), wine pairings + more.

Artista Vista | Thurs. + Sat., April 18 + 20 | times vary | The Vista | Free | A two-day art-centric event where galleries with new, unique shows (some offering complimentary beverages, hors d’ oeuvres + live entertainment), plus live music and more throughout The Vista. Don’t miss the Light & Lantern Parade Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Lincoln Street Tunnel.

Columbia Kids Fashion Weekend | Sat.-Sun., April 20-21 | 4-8 p.m. | 1332 Main St. | $25+ | Can you think of anything more adorable than kids modeling? This weekend, you can see the latest in kid fashion + even sign up your own kid to be a model on the catwalk.

Easter Crab Boil + Egg Hunt | Sun., April 21 | 12-3 p.m. | Swamp Cabbage Brewery | $40 | Celebrate Easter with a crab boil + egg hunt. It’s all-you-can-eat + if you were worried the egg hunt is only for kids, think again – adults can partake in the hunting too.
