We all know Segra Park – home to the Columbia Fireflies – has a packed schedule during MiLB season, from April-September. But you may not know that Segra Park is almost just as busy in its offseason, as the event center has become a mecca for hosting local and nonprofit events.

Some of the Midlands’ largest community events now call Segra Park home, like the recent Walk for Life 2019, Therapalooza 2019, last weekend’s JDRF One Walk and last year’s pro-bono UofSC Love Story wedding. Segra Park was built to be a gathering place for the Midlands and prides itself on serving local nonprofits who serve our community.

The park is hosting 19 nonprofit events this offseason. Here are a few upcoming big hitters:

Segra Park’s multiple venues offer options for events of all sizes + budgets, and they offer nonprofits 40% off rental rates. See their spaces here.

Of course, they also host dozens of for-profit events each offseason, from networking events to weddings to conferences to company team-building outingsa day at the Fireflies batting cages, anyone?
