Allllll the Thanksgiving food (minus the work) 🍗

One of my favorite holidays is finally (almost) here and I am so ready to eat something that didn’t come from a box. I don’t know about you, but this time of year usually involves food, family + all things homemade. From turkey + dressing to mac ‘n cheese, my very Southern family goes all out for Thanksgiving and everyone brings something to the table.

For those of you who prefer a less traditional Thanksgiving gathering (or can’t cook to save your life) we’ve got you covered for the big day. Here are 8 local places that are open for Thanksgiving meals or take-out that would love to have you join them.

(This isn’t a complete list of all the places to grab your turkey dinner in Cola, so if you know of any others, send them to us to see we can add to this growing list.)

If you’re looking for a way to give back this year, consider volunteering at the 12th annual Thanksgiving in the Park where you can donate items that will be made into “survival packs” distributed to local homeless shelters – and then eat a Thanksgiving meal with fellow do-gooders.

This Thanksgiving season – while you’re gathered around the table with your friends, family + homemade (or take-out) food – don’t forget all the things you have to be thankful for. On my list this year is definitely how lucky I got finding my way to COLAtoday this semester.
