8 new summer cocktails you need to try 🍹
It’s finally Friday, we’ve got a three-day weekend ahead of us, and it’s hot outside. So we’re coming at with you with 8 must-try summer cocktails found around town – pre-taste tested.
Beach trip, smeach trip. Stay in Cola and get your hands on one of these this Memorial Day weekend.
🍹Frozen Rosé | $6 | Bone-In Barbeque | 2180 Boyce St. | menu // fruity + frozen, with balsamic macerated strawberries

Not even embarrassed to admit: me, Beth + our two friends collectively drank 12 of these on Bone-In’s opening night. We would have ordered more, but they said we drank them out. 🙃
🍹 Can’t You See? | $10 | Terra | menu // Aylesbury Duck vodka with cantaloupe puree, fresh-squeezed lemon, local honey, fresh mint and ginger
🍹Tincho | $7 | Spotted Salamander | menu // a citrus-y, traditional Argentinian “wine on ice” drink

🍹Strawberry in Silver | $11 | Motor Supply | menu // Plymouth gin + Suze infused with local strawberries (You’ll have to hold tight a few for this one; It’s only available June 5-10, for Negroni Week)
🍹Punch Taps | $9 | River Rat Brewery | menu // tequila punch + Hemingway rum daiquiri on tap

Bonus: The Rat just added frosé to their menu on Wednesday.
🍹Burning Bush | $9 | The War Mouth | menu // grapefruit moonshine, mezcal, honey rosemary + egg white

🍹Basil Lime Martini | $8 |Za’s on Devine | menu // locally distilled Copper Horse Old Mill Vodka, shaken + muddled with fresh basil and lime
🍹Honeysuckle margarita | $6.25 | Cantina 76 | menu // Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka, lemon, mint + agave
It’s pretty much a 100% chance of rain all weekend, so if you decide to turn up inside with all these cocktails, make sure you drink responsibly.
Also, let’s raise a glass to our new COLAtoday interns, whose names you’ll start to see at the bottom of these emails soon. Welcome to the team, Katie + Adena.
