It’s always 5 o’clock on the patio

Fall is officially in the air, and IMHO there’s no better time to dine al-fresco than now.

(I’m already picturing myself sitting on Saluda’s patio tonight: glass of wine in hand, seared scallops on my plate + the sounds of the Five Points fountain in the background. 😍)

Here are a few of the best patios in the Midlands giving you some weekend date-night inspo.

🍴 Terra | West Cola | 100 State St. | Mon.-Sun., 5-10 p.m. | menu | known for their use of local, seasonal produce

🍴 Saludas | Five Points | 751 Saluda Ave. | Mon.-Sun., 5:30-10 p.m. | menu | second level patio makes for some of the best people-watching

🍴 Arkos | Lexington | 109 Old Champion Rd., Lexington | Tues-Thurs., 4-10 p.m.; Fri., 4 p.m.-2 a.m.; Sat., 4 p.m.-12 a.m. + Sun., 9 a.m -2 p.m. | menu | rooftop patio, complete with string lighting… and that award-winning margarita

🍴 Liberty on the Lake | Irmo | 1602 Marina Rd., Irmo | Mon.-Sun. 11 a.m.-11 p.m. (12 a.m. on Fri.+Sat.) | menu | I mean, you’re on the water + can arrive by boat. Say no more.

🍴 Motor Supply Co. Bistro | The Vista | 920 Gervais St. | Tues.-Thurs., 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. + 5:30-9:30 p.m.; Fri. + Sat., 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. + 5:30-10:30 p.m.; Sun., 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. + 5:30-9 p.m. | menu | basically everything they serve is from a local farm or house-made. It’s no wonder both the food + drinks are award-winning.
