Rise and shine, Soda Citizens. We’re only three days from the start of all the NCAA tourney festivities in Cola. But DYK that one of the biggest mountain film festivals will be here this week too? We’ve got a busy week ahead, and whether history’s your thing or bidding’s your game, there’s something for everyone.

If tournament tickets might break the bank, maybe head to the CofC vs. Clemson game instead. I already know I’m going to be checking out the Banff Film Festival Tour. What can I say, I like to live vicariously through insanely awesome mountain climbers. Anywho – here’s the 4-1-1 on this week’s #MustDo events:

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour | Tue.-Wed., Mar. 19-20 | 7 p.m. | The Senate, 1022 Senate St. | $15 | If you loved Free Solo, you’ll enjoy all the movies the Banff Festival has to offer. As the biggest mountain film festival, this tour includes different environmental + adventure films both nights it’s in town. 🏔

CofC vs. Clemson in Columbia | Wed., Mar. 20 | 5:30 p.m -9:30 p.m. | Segra Park | $21+ | Two S.C. schools are batting against each other, and the game won’t be one to miss. So grab some ballpark ‘dogs + support your fave team.

Bluegrass, Bidding + BBQ | Thurs., Mar. 21 | 7-10 p.m. | Robert Mills House + Gardens, 1616 Blanding St. | $50 non-members, $40 for HC members, $30 for Palladium members | Enjoy live music from Willie Wells & the Blue Ridge Mountain Grass, local barbeque + bidding on auction items, all while supporting Historic Columbia.

2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament | Thurs.-Sun., Mar. 21-24 | Colonial Life Arena, 801 Lincoln St. (for practices + tournament games) | $51-$240+ | Here’s a guide to everything you need to know about the tournament.🏀
