Party on Main Street 💃

Main Street

The soccer ball scavenger hunt begins at 6 p.m. | photo by @3freligion

Spend your entire Saturday on Main St. – starting with Soda City at 9 a.m. + continuing with one of downtown’s biggest daylong throwdowns of year, the 14th annual Main Street Latin Festival, which runs 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on the 1400 block of Main St.

The fest (which ~10,000 people attend each year) celebrates •everything• Latin culture has to offer: food, live music, vendors + more. Here are some highlights to look forward to this year:

🌮 Food | Indulge on empanadas (meat pockets), pinchos (pork or chicken on a stick), paella (a large dish of rice + seafood), tostones (green fried plantains) + more

🎺 Music | Salsa singer Charlie Aponte (lead vocalist of Puerto Rico’s salsa orchestra El Gran Combo) is this year’s headliner. Listen for the sounds of salsa, merengue, reggaeton + grupero music to engulf Main St.

💃 Dance | Prep yourself to step to the beat on Saturday with this salsa dancing tutorial
