In order to provide the Columbia workers with more reliable + convenient options for public transportation, the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce and the State Workforce Development Board will grant six local workforce development areas with up to $100,000 each.
Applicants must agree to partner with a designated public transit provider, community-based organizations and/or businesses for a large-scale project that aims to address barriers to 24/7 access to public transportation through innovative or existing infrastructure.
