No chill was in the air this passed Saturday, but there was chili in the air at Five Points’ 30th Annual Chili Cook-off. With 30+ different types of chill to try, here are your 2017 winners:

Best Traditional Chili (like your momma used to make it): Bottles Beverage Superstore

Best Bar & Restaurant: Devine Cinnamon Roll Deli. What a sweet victory.

Best Texas-Style: Courtyard Columbia-Cayce

Best Non-traditional (made with anything other than beef): Columbia Fire Department

SilverSpoon Award (a.k.a people’s choice): Columbia Fire Department

Best Set-Up: Columbia Fire Department

Third Overall: Jeff’s Texas Tornado Red Chili

Second Overall: Wolfe & Taylor – Shut the front Door
