It’s hunting season, ladies + gents. No need to bust out the camo, though – we’re hunting beer.

Lowes Foods’ Beer Hunting Season is a photo contest for the best pics of Carolina craft beer “in the wild.” Participants have until Friday, October 18 to submit photos for the contest. See rules + how to enter here. 🍺

6 winners  will snag 2 spots each on Lowes Foods’ Beer Hunting Tour in Greenville the weekend of Nov. 9-10 (valued at ~$500). Beer Hunting weekend typically happens in N.C., so we’re pumped it’s taking place down here this time.

The experience will include overnight hotel accommodations and an exclusive brewery hop in GVL, starting with a trip to the Lowes Foods Five Forks’ Cavern (a special Beer Den in the Simpsonville store where they brew their own beer on-site), led by Brew Master Joe.

We can’t tell you the secret to taking a winning beer pic, but we can recommend you find the Lowes Foods Beer Den closest to you + try some of these Carolina craft brews:

  • TropiCarolina | Tropical IPA | 7% ABV | Cottontown Brew Lab | Columbia, S.C.
  • Lagerbier | American Lager | 5.5% ABV | Edmund’s Oast | Charleston, S.C.
  • Sometimes Goats | Doppelbock | 9.2% ABV | Birds Fly South | Greenville, S.C.
  • Coffee Lager | Lager - Helles | 4.5% ABV | Steel Hands Brewing | Columbia, S.C.
  • Smoking Mirror | Smoked Porter | 5.5% | Quest Brewing Co. | Greenville, S.C.

Cheers to getting out in the wild, COLA.
