DYK UofSC’s campus dining was named the best campus dining program in the state of S.C., and it was ranked among the top 40 Best Colleges for Food. Lucky for us, you don’t have to have a meal plan or even be a student to eat on campus.

So we want to know, what’s the best campus food? Is it Friday lunch or Sunday brunch from Top of Carolina S.C.’s only 360° rotating restaurant, 18 floors up. Or maybe the long-time classic Chicken Finger Wednesday. And let’s not forget about that famous tomato pie at McCutcheon House on the Horseshoe.

UofSC’s campus dining – a.k.a. Carolina Food Co. – features 30+ food venues throughout campus, ranging from a healthy breakfast to a late-night craving. And we’re thinking working remotely on our old stomping grounds or having a meeting at Colloquium Cafe would be a nice switch-up for this pair of alumni.

Earlier this week, we asked what your favorite campus food was, and here’s what a couple of you had to say:

  • “My son raves about the food in Preston Dining. He says the grilled salmon is the best.” –Diane R.
  • “Went to community table last weekend and it was great!” –Christine B.

If you didn’t get a chance to join the conversation, leave a comment on our Facebook or Instagram post or leave a comment below. We’re planning to try some of your recommendations next week, and report back with a guide to campus dining later this month.
