City of Columbia’s official holiday ornament

On Friday, the official 2019 City of Columbia ornament was unveiled – this year, featuring The Township Auditorium. The ornament is made of 24-karat gold over brass, and available to purchase for $15 at the Babcock Center Foundation Office (2725 Banny Jones Ave., West Columbia) or at the Columbia Visitors Center (1120 Lincoln St.).

All proceeds of the ornament benefit programs of the Babcock Center Foundation, which supports those with lifelong disabilities living in the Midlands.

This is the 27th year City of Columbia has released an official city ornament. Here’s a look at some of the past years:
