You voted, Columbia. Now that you’ve done your civic duty, it’s time to see the outcome.

Last Tuesday’s Columbia City Council at-large election resulted in a runoff, because no candidate got at least 50% of the vote. So, election season will last a bit longer. Mark your calendar: Runoff elections are Tuesday, Nov. 19. 🗳️

Here’s who we’ll be voting for in the runoff:

Howard Duvall (incumbent) – 4,655 votes (44%)

Sara Middleton – 3,769 votes (36%)

Who won the other City Council seats?

District 2

Ed McDowell (incumbent) – was elected for a second term, with 66% of votes.

District 3

Will Brennan was elected for his first term, with 54% of votes.
