Columbia Fireflies 2019 season by the numbers

It’s been nearly a month since the Columbia Fireflies closed out their 2019 season, and we’re already missing #ThirstyThursdays, singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch, and the Fly Guys.

As we count down to Opening Night 2020 (April 9, a.k.a. 128 days from now), we’re taking a look back at the 2019 Fireflies season, by the numbers:

Concessions 🌭

This season at Segra Park, Columbia consumed:

  • 6 tons of hot dogs
  • 7 tons of chicken tenders
  • 13 tons of french fries
  • 2.5 tons of pulled pork
  • 1,800 kegs of beer, which equals about 222,000 pints

Schedule 📆

The team typically plays a 140-game season, which can be affected by rainouts. Here are the numbers from the 2019 season:
