The Columbia Fireflies are kicking off their fifth season with a home opener on Thursday, April 9 at 7:05 p.m. against the Augusta GreenJackets, ft. the Budweiser Thirsty Thursday™ promotion (read: half-priced draft beer + sodas, plus $1 Bud Light) and a post-game fireworks show – just one of 21 fireworks shows this season.

On top of their weekly programming like $2 Tuesdays and Trash the Poop Wag-Along Wednesdays, the Fireflies have also announced a full lineup of themed nights for 2020.

Here are 6 can’t-miss Fireflies games this year:

  • Star Wars Night | Saturday, May 23 | Break out the Darth Vader voice and the Lea buns. Bonus: Post-game fireworks.
  • Pride Night | Thursday, June 11 | Segra Park’s first Pride Night, celebrating all love and featuring post-game fireworks. Oh, and it’s also a Budweiser Thirsty Thursday.™ 🏳️‍🌈
  • Princess Knight | Saturday, June 27 | Princesses, fairy godmothers and prince charmings will gather for a magical, family-friendly night capped with a fireworks show. Costumes encouraged.
  • Independence Day Celebration | Saturday, July 4 | Get your red, white + blue on for this July Fourth celebration with fireworks, presented by Encompass Health.
