Concert season is upon us, and Cola’s ready for it. Fall brings cooler temps (can we get an amen?) and a more robust lineup at live music venues like The Senate in the Vista.

To help you plan out your autumn evenings, here are 10 must-see concerts at The Senate this Fall.

  • Freeway Music Festival | 🗓 Sat., August 24 | 12 p.m. | $10 | Support Freeway Music by celebrating local + regional talent on three stages curated by Free Times, Scene SC + WXRY. Acts include Cayla Fralick, Dead Swells, Daniel Machado, and the Boomtown Trio (seen here recording “Tied to the Night”).
  • The Earls of Leicester | 🗓 Wed., September 11 | 7:30 p.m. | $37.50 | After winning a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album + six awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association, this Nashville six-piece is on tour promoting their first live album. Hear their classic Earl Scruggs- and Lester Flatt-influenced sound.
  • Cosmic Charlie: Dark Side of the Dead | 🗓 Sat., September 14 | 9 p.m. | $15 | Experience the music of both The Grateful Dead + Pink Floyd in this hybrid show, featuring a live performance of Dark Side of the Moon. See the band cover “Brown Eyed Women” for a taste of their infectious energy.
  • Who’s Bad: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience | 🗓 Fri., October 4 | 8 p.m. | $19.99 | Put on your dancing shoes for an evening with the longest-running Michael Jackson tribute band, who has performed “Man in the Mirror + countless more of the King of Pop’s hits all over the world.
  • Gin Blossoms | 🗓 Thurs., October 10 | 8 p.m. | $25 | You’ll be feeling plenty of “Hey Jealousy” if you miss out on the Gin Blossoms’ tour stop at The Senate. Hear the soundtrack of your youth with “Til I Hear It From You” + “Follow You Down,” plus songs from the band’s latest album.
  • Drake White | 🗓 Sat., October 19 | 8 p.m. | $15 | Named one of Rolling Stone’s “10 Country Artists You Need to Know” + Billboard’s “Hot New Country Artists to Watch,” Drake White is bringing his foot-stomping tunes like “Makin’ Me Look Good Again” to The Senate.
  • Yacht Rock Review | 🗓 Sat., October 26 | 8 p.m. | $22 | Calling all Kenny Loggins fans. Relive your soft rock dreams of the 70s + 80s at this smooth, breezy show featuring your favorite songs by Hall & Oates, Toto + more.
  • Of Montreal | 🗓 Sat., November 2 | 8 p.m. | $17.50 | Fresh off the release of their most recent album, the innovative indie pop band (originally from Athens, Ga.) is headed to Cola. Check out “Paranoiac Intervals/Body Dysmorphia” for a preview of the band’s whimsical style.
  • Mason Ramsey | 🗓 Sat., November 9 | 8 p.m. | $15 | If you own a device with access to the Internet, you likely saw “Walmart yodeling kid” at some point. Well, his name is Mason Ramsey, and he’s since performed at the Grand Ole Opry + is now touring with his hits like “Lovesick Blues.” Did we mention he’s only 12?
  • Matt and Kim | 🗓 Sun., November 17 | 7 p.m. | $27 | The bubbly + energetic indie electronic duo is touring in celebration of their ten-year anniversary + making a stop at The Senate. Dance along to their hits like “Daylight” to feel better about literally everything.
