Winter break means a few days off work…but it also means the kids are out of school. Here is a list of camps + activities to keep your kids busy over break:

👪 EdVenture Children’s Museum Winter Break Camp | Dec. 18-22 + 26-29 | $40/day; Week 1: $175; Week 2: $140 | Kids can conduct hands-on experiments, make holiday decorations + learn how to cook exotic foods

👪 Riverbanks Zoo & Garden Backstage | Fri.-Sun. | $60 or $45 for members | Kids can interact with the zoo animals + learn what goes into their care

👪 Plex HiWire Sandhills Location | Dec. 18-22, 26-29 | 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. | $45/day, $150/week | Kids can play indoor basketball, soccer, football + more

👪 Columbia Museum of Art Winter Workshops | Dec. 18-19 | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. | $80 or $64 for members | ages 4-7 | Learn about jazz + poetry; for ages 8-12, the “D.I.Y. Design” workshop to create their own fashion designs

👪 South Carolina State Museum’s Winter Break Camps | Dec. 18–22 + 26–29 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.; extended day 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. | $50/day; $200/week or $40/day; $160/week for members | ages 6-11 | Different theme each day – like astronomy, natural history + more
