ICYMI, the Columbia Fireflies announced last week that they will host OktoberFest at Segra Park this Saturday, Oct. 3, from 5-8 p.m.

🍺 Sips:

The festival will feature 75+ beers (plus seltzers and ciders) to sample from 35+ local, regional and national breweries, including Palmetto, Sweetwater, Hunter Gatherer, Highland, Columbia Craft, Green Man, Steel Hands, Sam Adams, Catawba, Swamp Cabbage + more.

Additional breweries and beer selections from each brewery will be posted on the Facebook event page as they become available.

🥨 Snacks:

Limited concessions will be available for purchase, like soft pretzels and bratwurst. Prost, y’all.

🎟️ Tix:

OktoberFest tickets are on sale now for $40 in advance (plus tax + fees) and $50 on the day of the event. Tickets include access to the festival and unlimited free beer samples. Designated Driver tickets are available for $10 in advance and day-of, and include unlimited free fountain sodas.

While parking is free, rideshare transportation or The COMET transit service is encouraged.

😷 Safety:

The following protocols will be in place for the comfort + safety of all attendees:

  • Masks will be required for admission and for movement on the concourse + restrooms.
  • All staff, servers, beer pourers + employees handling food will be wearing masks and gloves.
  • All cups will be disposable – each tasting will require a new cup, available at each station.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the concourse.
  • Enhanced restroom sanitizing will happen before, during and after the event.
  • Social distancing of six feet between groups will be required.
  • No cash will be accepted (read: bring a credit or debit card).
  • Signed waivers will be required of all attendees.
