Whether seeing what the sea lions are up to or getting your steps in at the Botanical Garden, Riverbanks Zoo and Garden has a lot happening this season.

Open daily 9 a.m.-5 p.m., here are a few activities to inspire you to live your wild life:

Cool off at Aflac Splash Zone located in Waterfall Junction

Waterfall Junction is now open. Kids will love exploring the giant tree houses or getting splashed by the 25-foot cascading waterfall. It’s the perfect way to stay cool all summer. Bonus: Entry to Waterfall Junction is included with general park admission.

Get a bird’s eye view on the Sky-High Safari Course

Put your balance to the test + get a unique view of the zoo. The Sky-High Safari allows climbers to explore up to four-stories on this ropes course. Open 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; prices vary based on general admission and/or membership level.

Explore Conservation Programs

Learn more about how Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is dedicated to the conservation + care of wildlife + plants, both inside Riverbanks and around the globe.

Riverbanks offers training sessions for FrogWatch USA, a science program where trained volunteers monitor frogs and toads. Or learn how the Palmetto Clean Energy (PaCE) grant helped make the newly installed solar panels possible.

Plan Ahead: Brew at the Zoo coming (back) in August

Riverbanks signature event, Brew at the Zoo, returns Fri., Aug. 5. Dubbed by the zoo as the coolest suds sippin’ safari, the event will allow guests to sip on a cold drink while strolling through the zoo. Tickets are not on sale just yet, but we wanted to give you a heads up so you can plan ahead and mark your calendars.*
