Meet Rosie

Last week, City Center Partnership (CCP) unveiled Rosie – the first electric litter vacuum cleaner with an autonomous driving system which will be used to help keep our city streets clean in the Business Improvement District. 🧹 What is the Business Improvement District, you ask? According to the Main Street District’s website, It’s the 36-block area bounded by Gervais, Elmwood, Assembly + Marion streets.

Rosie is equipped to detect obstacles and people (check out this video), releases zero emissions, and she is the only urban and industrial waste vacuum cleaner designed to take care of the needs of the operator by making cleaning tasks more ergonomic + less heavy. You can find her somewhere on Main Street quietly keeping our city clean. 🤖

Here’s what Soda Citizens have said about Rosie so far:

“💜 Good! We love innovation and new ideas!” – @thecurbsidestudio

“Looks like a clever girl to me!” – @rawlesfoodnstuff

“Wonder how many squirrels she’s eaten” – @fe_lvr
