UofSC economists recently made some predictions about our state’s economy + growth, and things are looking really good for working South Carolinians.

Here are the stats in our state:

  • Unemployment rate is at 3.9%the lowest since 2000
  • Individual income is predicted to increase 4.3% in 2018
  • 2.1% boost in job creation is expected for next year

What does that mean for workers? Employers must consider providing incentives + benefits to recruit and maintain employees.
