One of the things we love most about Five Points is the small businesses that fill it – figuratively small (local; often 2-15 employees) – and literally small (8+ colorful storefronts per block; there’s so much packed into Five Points there’s really something for almost everyone).

Tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 25) the Five Points Association will take part in Small Business Saturday – a nationwide event celebrating small biz in local communities. DYK? Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in 2010 to help businesses gain more customers.

Here are our picks for the best deals from local merchants:

2G’s Clothing | additional 50% off of already discounted prices + free gift wrap with purchase

Good For The Sole Shoes | $10 off every $50 you spend Nov. 20-25

Papa Jazz Record Shoppe | dozens of limited release records, starting Black Friday

Portfolio Art Gallery | 5% off any purchase of $50 or more + 10% off any purchase of $100 or more

Revente | 15% off storewide on regularly priced items

The OOPS! Co. | free Yeti lowball rambler with $75+ purchase while supplies last

Vestique Columbia | 20% off all day; spiked cider + treats

Village Idiot Pizza | 20% off with a Five Points retail receipt (receipt must be dated 11.25.17)

See the full, growing list here.

While you’re out and about tomorrow (hello, ideal holiday shopping day 🙋) hashtag #shop5points + #shopsmalland, duh, #colatoday.

(And if you can’t make it tomorrow, mark your calendars for A Starry Night next Friday, Dec. 1 – Five Points’ annual, super-festive night-time holiday event ft. shops open late with holiday specials, cocktails + hot cocoa, carolers from Benedict, and, of course, Santa.)
