Countdown until the 38th annual St. Pat’s in Five Points: 10 days. ☘️

Here are 5 #MustDos at the annual festival next Saturday, March 21, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.:

🏃 Get some steps in early | Whether you’re up for the Get to the Green 10K, 5K or 1-mile family fun run (7:30/8 a.m.), registration ($40-45) includes festival ticket + one free drink.

🐴 Meet the Budweiser Clydesdales | Festival gates open at 9 a.m., so get there early to snag a front row spot on Saluda Ave. to see the famous Budweiser Clydesdales, followed by the annual St. Pat’s Parade, sponsored by Capital Waste Services.

✨ Go VIP | Consider upgrading your $20-25 gen admission ticket to VIP ($135), which comes with access to the private party at Saluda’s (12-7 p.m.) sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, ft. open bar, food, and top-notch people watching from the balcony.

👶 Wear out the kids | While re-entry to the festival wasn’t permitted in previous years, parents can get their re-entry wristband to come back for some adult fun this year after letting the kids enjoy rides, magicians, inflatables + more in the Pot O’ Gold family fun zone (closes at 6 p.m.) sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield and Midlands Media Group.

🎶 Enjoy the music | Starting at noon, see local + regional bands like Stagbriar and Darby Wilcox (emceed by Fat Rat DaCzar), leading up to national acts like SHAED (of Trampoline, which you’ve definitely heard) and headliner Band of Horses (of Funeral and other major songs that we’re pumped to sing along to). Full music lineup here.

Bonus tip: Consider buying your ticket now for $20 vs. $25 (cash only) at the gate Saturday.
