Ever wait ‘til the last minute to figure out your New Year’s Eve plans? Same. With more + more exciting NYE options in Cola every year, it’s easy to do. But here’s an option we’re willing to #PlanAhead for.

Just like last year, The Senate + Tin Roof are planning a massive NYE block party starting at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 in the Vista, with a fitting theme for ringing in the new decade: “Roaring Into 2020.”

Guests are encouraged to come dressed up to celebrate “the new Roaring 20’s” – think: modern Great Gatsby – and entry is just the cover charge, or you can skip the line by buying FAST PASS tickets for $40. VIP group packages are also available, ranging from a four-person package with a bottle of champagne + apps for $200 to all-inclusive drink packages for four (including liquor, beer, wine + champagne) for $500. Options here. (Packages sold out last year, so snag these sooner than later if you’re thinking about going VIP.)

The party will feature:

đŸș Three bars

đŸŽ€ Two music stages with live music by Seventy Six and Sunny, DJ Payne + Larger than Life

đŸ„‚ A complimentary champagne toast at midnight

🎈 Balloon drop at The Senate

🎉 Confetti cannon at Tin Roof

👔 Coat check

Columbia’s “live music block” knows a thing or two about throwing a block party – they hosted Kentucky Derby + Cinco de Mayo block parties in May, a St. Pat’s party in March, and the Vista After Five outdoor concert series throughout October. Pro-tip: You can also rent out their spaces for holiday gatherings, Greek events + more.
