Spring is around the corner, so we’re thinking about our six packs. Oh, you thought we were working out? No, we’re here to give you some brewery updates happening around town in Soda City.

Craft and Draft Beer, 2706 Devine St. + 7583 St Andrews Rd. | Craft and Draft Irmo celebrated its two-year anniversary last weekend, just updated its outdoor patio at Devine Street, and both Irmo + Devine locations have an extensive list of beers or seltzers to choose from.

Columbia Craft Brewing Company, 520 Greene St. | Even with ongoing construction towards the expansion of its patio + rooftop area, Columbia Craft continues to host weekly bingo on Wednesdays and releases canned brews regularly.

Hazelwood Brewing Company, 711 East Main St. | Thanks to Hazelwood’s new heated deck and beer garden, you can still drink a cold one when it’s cold.

River Rat Brewery, 1231 Shop Rd. | Make sure to try its recently released drinks + dishes, like its Mexican Chocolate Brown Ale and new Bagel Breakfast Sandwich. Check out its calendar for events like Wing Wednesday and Rat Gear Friday during February.

Steel Hands Brewing, 2350 Foreman St. | In October, Steel Hands announced its expansion to Greensboro, NC. Its Cayce location has continued to host live music + events with indoor and heated outdoor spaces.

Savage Craft Ale Works, 430 Center St. | Savage Craft celebrated its first trip around the sun on Saturday, making us nostalgic to when they first opened in 2020.

Smoked, 1643 Main St. | With the news of its upcoming brewing company, Peak Drift, and its new member-only speakeasyThe BURNLINE — we’ll keep you updated on all the Smoked happenings this year. Peak Drift will be the largest brewery in the state, also making history with Ashley Kinart-Short — the first female head brewer in Columbia.
