National Volunteer Week 2022 is right around the corner, and we’re ready to give back to our community. So is United Way of the Midlands, who is hosting our local leg of National Volunteer Week (April 19-23) here in Columbia. United Way is looking for volunteers to help with 40+ different projects.

This year, there’s a project for everyone. There are several outdoor + beautification projects for nature lovers, from connecting the Palmetto Trail to expanding the Ballentine’s Library outdoor learning space. Crafters may enjoy building and painting birdhouses for Camp Cole residents, painting porches for transitional housing, or making Mother’s Day cards for foster moms.
