I am a proud part of the brainwashing – I mean fanbase – that “The Bachelor/Bachelorette” has developed over the past 16 years + I have seen some things in my day.

Things like:

• Chad eating a whole meat tray
• Corrine + her Nanny/relatable napping habits
• Andi calling OUT Juan Pablo
• That time that girl had an affair with a producer.

The drama that ABC finds with each season baffles my mind and each year it just gets crazier… Luckily, none of the most uncomfortable moments can be credited to the 12 South Carolinians who have competed on the show, but maybe that’s because none of them make it past week four. (Conspiracy? I think so.)

The number of contestants from S.C. may seem small (only 12 out of 894 total contestants since the franchise’s start), but maybe it’s because we South Carolinians find our love in a more traditional setting… like Bumble.

Anyways, these 12 folks went to Hollywood to find love – and I respect them for it.

This *where are they now* roundup is showing off our native S.C. folks who have competed for love – but we’ve also found some people from the show who have chosen to lay their roots in S.C., because who wouldn’t want to do that?

Like Blake + Holly Julian, who are are hangin’ out up in Greenville (they’re a success story from the spinoff “Bachelor Pad”). Check out their story – it warms my cold, dead heart. ♥️

Or maybe the track-suit-wearing lawyer from this season with a doctorate degree from UofSC? If you’ve ever spent some time in the office of the Attorney General, you might recognize him. Hey, Nick. 😉 He’s also headin’ to Bachelor in Paradise on Aug. 7. 🌴

Actually, Lindsay King Powers is originally from Bristol, Tenn. But it appears she does now live in Greenville – and is apparently known as “The Lilly [Pulitzer] Queen” of the Upstate.

Looks like Roberto Martinez is indeed from Charleston. Can’t believe we missed him.

“I think Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristow spends time in the Upstate. Shes has hosted an event in Greenville and she snaps there every now and then!”

According to this Twitter thread, she did visit Greenville – but was confused as to if it was in S.C. or N.C.
