After an epic last season of both Women’s + Men’s Gamecock Basketball, has the departure of star players like Sindarius Thornwell + P.J. Dozier caused fans to lose faith in this year’s men’s basketball team? Nope.

8,700+ men’s basketball season tickets have already been sold – and the home opener against Western Michigan isn’t until Nov. 13. In fact, the marketing department has already surpassed the number of season tickets sold last year (8,340). And it’s not slowing down – the number of sales changes significantly by the hour.

Coach Frank Martin has been vocal on social media about capitalizing on the program’s recent successes, and the fans seem to be listening. Ticket sales are up 52% since he arrived to coach the ‘Cocks from Kansas State six years ago.
