COLAchats, meet recent UofSC grad CeCe, pursuing a career in Public Health!

What did you love about UofSC: It’s unique how integrated the school is with Columbia! I loved experiencing a historic campus and a growing city.

Favorite way to get outside: The state park system is awesome. You can rent paddle boards at Sesqui State Park for $10.00. Pack a picnic!

Something you’d like to try in Cola: Wine and paint night at Studio Cellar in the

Vista! I’m going for my birthday with friends.

Favorite outdoor seating: Thirsty Fellow.

Best summer activity: ½-priced beer at Fireflies games on Thursdays. 🍻 We’ll cheers to that.

Cola’s best kept secret: The City of Columbia’s Parks and Rec department has an art studio on Calhoun Street that offers pottery lessons.

Favorite restaurant deal: Dano’s pizza lunch special! You get 2 cheese slices and a drink for $3.99. 🍕 Whaaaaat. I know where I’m going after this.

How do you go local? I really like Five After Five in Five Points and First Thursdays on Main Street. It’s a fun way to see friends and celebrate local.

This is part of our monthly #COLAchats series, featuring @golocola’s cheeky Q+As with interesting locals about town.
